Join a dynamic IT-Digital Technologies team as a Workday Project Coordinator/PM, where you'll lead exciting projects centered around the Workday platform. This role offers the perfect blend of strategic planning, hands-on project execution, and team leadership in a fast-paced technology environment.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months to start (possibility for extension)

Compensation: Starting at $78 per hour (W2) plus benefits; potential to go higher depending on experience/skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: You'll set project scope and assist in developing comprehensive project strategies and goals, while driving key deliverables to successful completion
  • Administrative Execution: Take charge of managing schedules, assigning and tracking tasks, and creating and maintaining all essential project documentation to ensure seamless project flow.
  • Team Leadership & Liaison: Lead dynamic team meetings while serving as the crucial link between vendors, staff, and stakeholders. You'll monitor challenges, provide innovative solutions, and implement necessary changes to keep projects on track
  • Budgeting & Reporting: Monitor project costs effectively and provide regular, comprehensive progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with the Workday Basic Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules required
  • Proactive Planning: identify potential problems before they arise and maintain proactive risk registers
  • Excel at managing multiple project components simultaneously (detailed documentation and schedules) and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Strong skills in managing stakeholders while effectively directing team members
  • Proven expertise in developing comprehensive plans and utilizing Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira and MS Project
  • Strong adaptability and decision-making abilities to pivot in response to changing requirements
  • Excellent documentation skills including taking detailed minutes, drafting project plans, and maintaining current documentation
