Mint Asset Management, LLC - Is a New York, NY based RIA. Mint Asset Management specializes in wealth management through investment management advice, services and guidance.
We are seeking a CFP, CFA, or Series 65-licensed Investment Adviser Representative to perform as an Account Executive, serving as the initial and ongoing connection between prospective retail clients and our portfolio management team. This role focuses on client education, relationship facilitation, prospective client outreach, and streamlining the onboarding experience for new clients.
<Duties>
- Engaging with prospective individual investors to help generate interest in the firm’s advisory services and represent and facilitate interaction between individual investors and portfolio managers.
- Working with affluent clients in accordance with fiduciary standards.
- Leading beginning-to-end onboarding and maintenance activities for new clients.
- Using multiple communication methods designed to support a consistent and high-quality client service experience.
- Acting as a key team member coordinating potential and existing clients’ experience with the portfolio manager.
- Focusing on clear access and interaction, while protecting client privacy and security consistent with regulatory requirements.
- Helping prospective clients understand our investment strategies, answering their questions about our services, and guiding them through the account establishment process to support a smooth transition from prospect to client.
- Contributing to the firm’s growth by developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients, in a manner consistent with the firm’s Code of Ethics and applicable securities laws and regulations.
<Skills>
- Candidates are required to currently hold a Series 65, CFA or CFP.
- 5+ years of professional or relevant account executive, advisory, business development, or client service experience; undergraduate degree a plus.
- Service Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of investment services and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and flexible.
- Detail oriented.
- Demonstrates a consistent focus on delivering a high-quality client experience, aligning with the firm's Code of Ethics.
- Able to respond promptly to client needs and coordinate appropriate solutions within firm policies and procedures.
- Frequent communication, and an abundance of discretion with sensitive information.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom experience with Advyzon and Schwab a plus.
- Professional verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency with financial software tools used for research, portfolio management, and reporting
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to clients
