Job Description: The engineering technical program management function supports programs across nearly every stage of GitLab by partnering with engineering leaders in verticals aligned to vice president areas. They work asynchronously across regions and focus on creating clear execution paths for broad, interdependent work across GitLab.

This role requires strength in written and asynchronous communication within a distributed, all-remote environment. Experience working across infrastructure, security, and platform engineering domains. Ability to influence without formal authority and collaborate effectively with engineering, product, marketing, sales, and legal teams.

Skills Required:

• Technical program management at a senior/director level
• Asynchronous communication and distributed team leadership
• Infrastructure, security, and platform engineering domain knowledge
• Cross-functional stakeholder management (engineering, product, marketing, sales, legal)

Requirements:

• 10+ years total technical experience
• 5+ years in technical program management
• Experience in all-remote environments
• Track record driving complex, interdependent engineering programs
