Job Description: A senior individual contributor and player-coach role. You'll lead design within product areas, shape design strategy, and mentor other designers. You operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Experience Strategy — ensuring solutions are desirable, usable, and grounded in real customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own design outcomes for product areas, driving from discovery through delivery and iteration
- Partner in the product triad to define problems, frame opportunities, and influence roadmap
- Embed continuous discovery practices (research, prototyping, validation) in team workflows
- Establish best practices for Figma, prototyping, and developer handoff
- Conduct Design QA to ensure shipped experiences meet design intent
- Mentor and develop designers; coach, critique, and guide
- Incorporate AI tools into design workflows for faster ideation and prototyping
- Define and measure success with qualitative and quantitative signals
Requirements:
- 6+ years in product design, UX, or related field with shipped work portfolio
- Proven ability to lead design within cross-functional teams
- Deep experience in continuous discovery including problem framing and validation
- Advanced Figma proficiency including systems thinking, prototyping, developer handoff
- Experience performing Design QA and working closely with engineering through implementation
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Healthcare, health-tech, or regulated environment experience preferred
