Job Description: You'll lead initial outreach to targeted accounts, working with Field and Digital Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams. You'll leverage creative prospecting tactics to engage multiple buyer personas, introduce GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform, and generate qualified meetings and pipeline for the Sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute outbound prospecting initiatives to generate qualified meetings in your assigned territory
- Generate New Logo opportunities and Growth opportunities on existing customer accounts
- Conduct high-level discovery conversations to qualify opportunities and create Stage 1 and Stage 3 Sales Accepted Opportunities
- Research and prioritize target accounts using business and industry knowledge
- Execute a multi-touch outreach cadence (call, email, social) using Outreach
- Track and report all activities accurately in Salesforce
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on targeted campaigns
- Mentor new BDR hires during onboarding
Requirements:
- Positive, energetic phone presence; excellent listening and writing skills
- Ability to manage high volumes of outreach and follow through consistently
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and Outreach or similar tools
- Previous tech industry or sales development experience is a plus
- Proficiency in English required
