Job Description: A unique hybrid role sitting at the intersection of engineering and field strategy. You'll work as a technical expert embedded directly with customers and prospects, helping them unlock value from GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform while also feeding customer insights back into product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the forward-deployed technical expert for strategic accounts
• Design and prototype solutions that solve complex customer problems using GitLab
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to develop and close strategic opportunities
• Translate field learnings into product requirements and feedback for GitLab engineering
• Build and demonstrate custom technical solutions and integrations
• Contribute to GitLab's public handbook and thought leadership

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering background with experience across the DevSecOps toolchain
• Ability to code, prototype, and build working demonstrations
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, solutions engineering, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences
• Comfort working in a fully async, globally distributed environment
