Job Description: A senior systems engineer role focused on building and owning core cloud infrastructure — including networking, data services, secrets management, and the reusable building blocks that product teams compose on top of. You'll also partner with the security engineer on cloud infrastructure security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain core cloud infrastructure using CDK/Terraform — networking, data services, secrets, and foundational building blocks
• Partner with the security engineer on vulnerability management, patching cadence, secrets hygiene, and network segmentation
• Design and operate highly available, resilient infrastructure for clean energy technology at scale
• Collaborate with product engineering teams on platform architecture and infrastructure decisions
• Lead technical direction on infrastructure modernization and reliability improvements

Requirements:

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or CDK for infrastructure as code
• Experience with networking, secrets management, and security hardening at scale
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
• Interest in clean energy, sustainability, or climate tech a plus
