Job Description: A high-ownership product engineering role where individual engineers build features end-to-end with unusual autonomy. Many of Ashby's most-loved features were built entirely by a single engineer. This is not a siloed role—you'll work across the full stack from database to UI, own your features through launch, and influence product direction directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and ship full-stack product features end-to-end — from database schema to UI components
• Own features from initial design through production launch, iteration, and maintenance
• Work in a TypeScript codebase (frontend and backend), React, GraphQL API, Node.js, Postgres, and Redis
• Collaborate with a small, senior engineering team in an async-first culture
• Contribute to engineering standards, technical decisions, and product direction
• Build product at the intersection of AI-powered recruiting, ATS, CRM, analytics, and scheduling

Requirements:

• Senior or Staff-level software engineering experience with strong full-stack capability
• TypeScript (frontend and backend) expertise; React, Node.js, GraphQL, and Postgres experience
• Proven track record of owning and shipping product features end-to-end in a high-quality codebase
• Comfortable in an async-first, globally distributed remote environment
• North America or Europe-based for time zone overlap with the team
