Job Description: You'll design and build data infrastructure and backend services that power Knotch's content intelligence platform, handling data pipelines, analytics infrastructure, and the backend systems that enable enterprise content teams to measure and optimize their programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and backend services powering Knotch's content intelligence platform
• Build scalable, reliable backend APIs and data infrastructure for enterprise clients
• Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams on new platform capabilities
• Maintain high standards for data reliability, observability, and performance
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering culture

Requirements:

• 5+ years backend software engineering experience with data infrastructure focus
• Strong Python, Scala, or similar backend language proficiency
• Data pipeline experience (Airflow, dbt, Spark, or similar)
• Cloud data warehouse experience (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Must be based in Canada with Canadian work authorization
