Job Description: A senior technical leadership role on HighLevel's platform engineering team. You'll help architect and build the foundational systems that hundreds of thousands of agencies and SMBs around the world depend on daily. As a Staff Engineer, you'll drive technical direction, define platform standards, and mentor engineers across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive technical direction and architecture for HighLevel's platform engineering initiatives
- Design and build scalable, reliable foundational services powering the HighLevel platform
- Mentor senior engineers and contribute to a high-quality engineering culture
- Partner with product and infrastructure leadership to align platform capabilities with growth needs
- Establish engineering standards and best practices across the platform organization
- Lead complex technical projects from scoping through production delivery
Skills Required: Platform engineering, distributed systems, Node.js or Go, cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices architecture, system design, technical leadership, Kubernetes/Docker.
Requirements:
- Staff or principal-level software engineering experience
- Deep platform engineering background with experience in high-scale distributed systems
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms at significant scale
- Technical leadership and mentoring track record
- Strong communication skills for a globally distributed remote team
