Job Description: You'll work at the intersection of AI and backend engineering on the Submission Processing team — core R&D work building LLM-based solutions that process millions of insurance documents at scale, extracting precise information about companies and synthesizing it into a complete picture of the insured.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build LLM-based solutions processing millions of insurance documents at scale
• Extract and synthesize precise structured information from complex insurance submissions
• Design data pipelines and backend systems supporting AI document understanding
• Work in a core R&D environment — this is not routine backend development
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers and product teams to iterate rapidly

Skills Required: Python, LLMs, document processing pipelines, PostgreSQL, AWS, distributed systems, AI engineering, data extraction and synthesis.

Requirements:

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals in Python
• Experience with LLMs, document processing, or AI data pipelines
• Comfort with research-oriented, fast-iterating engineering environments
• PostgreSQL and AWS experience required
• Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada
