Job Description: A part-time remote medical assistant role supporting a telehealth practice — handling patient intake, documenting medical histories, scheduling, and coordinating between patients and clinical providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual patient intake, including gathering medical histories and insurance information
• Schedule and coordinate telehealth appointments between patients and physicians
• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems
• Follow up with patients on care coordination and prescription refills
• Support clinical staff with administrative tasks between patient visits
• Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions and documentation

Skills Required: Medical assisting, patient intake, EMR/EHR proficiency, HIPAA compliance, clear verbal and written communication, scheduling, telehealth platform familiarity.

Requirements:

• Medical assistant certification or equivalent clinical training preferred
