About the Company: Deep Core Technology is building geologic modelling software, based on reasoning, to help mining and mineral exploration companies work faster. Job Description: You are the founding engineer on the team, joining co-founder (Neil, CEO) and Jeff (CTO) as first employee. You'll have deep influence over systems and architecture and ownership through the entire stack — from the database, through geostatistical backend services, through 3D rendering on the client side.

Skills Required:

  • Full-stack engineering (backend through 3D rendering)
  • Python or similar for scientific computing
  • Database architecture and geostatistical systems
  • Ability to work in a seed-stage, high-ownership environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Ideally: familiarity with scientific computing or geo-data systems
  • Must be based in Canada (remote)
  • Comfortable as a first hire, shaping the entire technical foundation

Benefits: 1% equity, competitive salary in CAD, founding-team culture.
