Job Description: An experienced, execution-oriented Technical Program Manager to drive critical cross-functional programs, ensure strategic alignment of complex engineering work, and guide distributed teams toward impactful outcomes. You'll be a trusted thought partner and hands-on delivery driver, comfortable navigating ambiguity independently with a large, complex technology organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives across teams and departments
- Track, support, and enable teams to deliver meaningful impact with clear metrics and milestones
- Facilitate and improve team practices, workflows, and processes at the program level
- Lead capacity planning exercises, identify gaps, and make resource allocation recommendations
- Partner with Product and Technology leadership to align priorities with strategic objectives
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies, and develop mitigation plans
- Partner with engineering to evaluate technical trade-offs and guide decisions balancing speed, scalability, and quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders including volunteer contributors
- Conduct training and coaching for program stakeholders on programmatic tools and best practices
- Mentor and support other Technical Program Managers
Requirements:
- 8+ years experience in Technical Program Management or a related field in a product-driven or engineering-led organization
- Strong systems thinking, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proven success managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders
- Expertise in risk management, capacity planning, and strategic alignment
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action
