Job Description: This is a foundational sales and business development hire at VersaFeed. You'll prospect, nurture, and close enterprise deals using existing channels and your own outbound initiatives. You'll also solidify current agency partnerships and forge new ones. As the first dedicated biz dev hire, you'll help architect the sales division and hire additional team members as the function grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, nurture, and close enterprise deals with large ecommerce retailers and their agencies
  • Build and leverage existing agency partnerships to drive pipeline
  • Create new outbound initiatives targeted at enterprise retailers and major ad agencies
  • Help architect the sales division from scratch — processes, playbooks, and team growth
  • Hire additional sales and biz dev team members as the function scales

Requirements:

  • 7+ years enterprise sales experience in adtech, ecommerce, ad agencies, or highly related areas
  • Proven track record closing enterprise-level deals
  • Experience with major ad agency and retailer relationships in the digital advertising space
  • Self-directed and entrepreneurial — comfortable building from scratch without an established playbook
  • Technical enough to understand product data feeds, retail media, and the major ad platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok)
