We are looking to hire an individual to participate in efforts to create features and functionality associated with our web and backend initiatives. This position part of our globally distributed Foundation team will actively participate in agile development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, other developers, QA engineers, and other functional teams on sprints
  • Provide estimates for stories assigned in sprints
  • Implement functional and architectural components defined by product management and architects respectively
  • Participate in design and implementation of components that integrates with internal and external systems
  • Understand the application and be a SME on implemented component
  • Participate with other developers in identifying and recommending best practices around architecture, development, and design
  • Develop web services for internal and external customers


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of development experience with React or Angular
  • 1 years of Node and/or Java with spring
  • Familiarity with component-based architectures
  • Experience in building highly scalable systems
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented and Software Design Patterns
  • BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
  • Strong English communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Jenkins workflows or other automation tools for streamlining and optimizing data-driven processes
