About the job

Robert Half is partnering with our client, a global technology organization, to identify an Airtable Project Manager to support a high-volume event season across AWS Events. This role is ideal for someone who is highly technical within Airtable, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can quickly step in to manage and optimize complex data systems supporting large-scale event operations.

Duration: 6-months w/ potential to extend

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $50–55/hour (W2)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting the final stretch of a large-scale event season. The Airtable Project Manager will step in as a data owner and systems manager, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Airtable bases that power event content, speaker management, and operational workflows.

The ideal candidate will be able to jump in immediately, take ownership of existing systems, and ensure data integrity and operational continuity through the end of the event cycle, while also helping set up scalable frameworks for future seasons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner of Airtable systems supporting multiple large-scale events across North America and LATAM
  • Build, maintain, and update Airtable bases, ensuring accuracy and usability across high-volume datasets (sessions, speakers, event content)
  • Perform data entry, data cleanup, and ongoing data management, maintaining strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues within Airtable, including automations, formulas, integrations, and performance challenges
  • Clone and adapt existing bases to support new events and workflows efficiently
  • Support day-to-day operational needs by managing updates, changes, and requests from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Conduct UAT and validation checks to ensure systems are functioning properly and data is accurate
  • Assist in wrapping up the 2025 event season, including data cleanup, archiving, and compliance processes
  • Help prepare and structure Airtable systems for the 2026 event season, creating repeatable and scalable workflows
  • Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and workflows for internal teams

Qualifications

  • Advanced, hands-on experience with Airtable, including building and maintaining bases, automations, formulas, and interfaces
  • Strong experience in data management and organization, with the ability to work across large, complex datasets
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance in real time
  • Experience cloning, modifying, and scaling Airtable bases across multiple use cases
  • Project management experience in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments, ideally supporting events or large-scale operations
  • High level of ownership, urgency, and adaptability with the ability to ramp quickly and contribute immediately
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams

What Sets This Role Apart

  • Immediate impact role with high visibility across a major event portfolio
  • Opportunity to own and optimize Airtable systems at scale
  • Blend of data management, systems thinking, and project execution
  • Critical support role in both closing out the current event season and preparing for what’s next
