Project Overview

Insight Global requires a Project Manager to support Society Enablement initiatives tied to key strategic programs, including the New Membership Class (NMC), AI (ChatGPT Business) rollout, and operational improvements across society-facing systems and processes.

This role is execution-focused and responsible for driving coordination, tracking progress, and ensuring successful implementation across a diverse global network of CFA societies.

The Project Manager will partner with internal stakeholders across Product, Technology, Communications, and Society Relations, while supporting societies through adoption, onboarding, and process execution.

Role Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for owning day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring progress is maintained, dependencies are managed, and stakeholders remain aligned.

This role does not require deep subject-matter expertise in each initiative, but instead emphasizes:

• Coordination and organization
• Clear communication
• Consistent follow-through
• Risk identification and escalation
• Operational execution

Key Workstreams & Responsibilities

1. New Membership Class (NMC) – Launch and Ongoing Society Activation

Support the New Membership Class initiative with a near-term focus on society website change management and 'Wave 2' society launch plan.

Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day coordination of activities
• Track progress of society website updates and content alignment
• Follow up with societies to ensure completion of required changes
• Coordinate with Communications to ensure consistent messaging
• Support 'Wave 2' rollout planning and execution
• Track and manage dependencies, including API-related requirements
• Escalate risks, delays, or adoption challenges to internal leads

2. AI (ChatGPT Business) Rollout to Societies

Lead the operational rollout of AI tools (ChatGPT Business) to the CFA society network.

Responsibilities:

• Translate high-level rollout strategy into a clear, actionable plan
• Coordinate access provisioning, onboarding, and rollout sequencing
• Schedule and support training sessions for societies
• Develop and maintain rollout documentation and guidance materials
• Serve as the primary coordination point between societies and internal product/technology teams
• Track adoption, usage trends, and common issues
• Ensure societies have clear pathways for support and escalation

4. Society Board Rostering

Support operational execution and improvement of the board rostering process.

Responsibilities:

• Track submission status, gaps, and completion across societies
• Coordinate follow-ups with societies to ensure timely and accurate data submission
• Support validation and reconciliation of rostering data
• Facilitate coordination between systems and internal stakeholders
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements

5. Cvent Onboarding – Next Wave of Societies

Support onboarding and adoption of the Cvent event management platform across additional societies.

Responsibilities:

• Track onboarding progress and readiness across societies
• Coordinate onboarding timelines and key milestones
• Support scheduling of training and onboarding sessions
• Ensure smooth handoffs between onboarding stages
• Monitor adoption and identify support needs post-launch

Cross-Functional Responsibilities

Across all workstreams, the Project Manager will:

• Maintain centralized tracking of tasks, timelines, and dependencies
• Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders
• Identify and escalate risks and blockers proactively
• Ensure clear and consistent communication across teams
• Support documentation and process standardization
• Drive accountability and follow-through across stakeholders

Success in this role will be measured by:

• Timely and effective execution across multiple workstreams
• High levels of society adoption and engagement
• Clear visibility into project status, risks, and dependencies
• Smooth coordination across internal and external stakeholders
