Scrum Master/Kanban Coach with data-centric project experience

6-month contract-to-hire

Location : Remote EST

W2 position- not open for c2c

A hybrid Scrum Master/Kanban Coach role focused on continuous flow rather than Sprints. You will manage end-to-end delivery for the data organization, optimizing how work moves through the pipeline using Lean principles and Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize Flow: Manage WIP (Work in Progress) limits and resolve systemic bottlenecks.
• Data-Driven Leadership: Use metrics (Cycle Time, Throughput, Aging) to drive performance and predictability.
• Facilitate Cadences: Lead Daily Kanban, Replenishment, and Service Delivery Reviews.
• Stakeholder Management: Balance demand vs. capacity and communicate risks to leadership.
• Coaching: Mentor teams on Lean/Kanban principles and explicit delivery policies.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in Kanban or Scrumban (SDM level).
• Domain: Experience with Data/Technical projects is required.
• Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Azure DevOps (Boards, Dashboards, CFDs).
• Skills: Strong grasp of Lean systems thinking and flow-based metrics.
