Constellation Search Group is looking for a Vice President of Program Management for a full-time direct hire position. This individual will develop and implement a comprehensive technology program/project management strategy aligned with overall business objectives. The role involves managing the technology project portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing the effectiveness of delivery processes. The Vice President will lead a team to deliver complex programs within budget and on time while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a technology program management strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Manage and monitor the technology project portfolio and schedule projects with Enterprise Technologies leadership.
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory and compliance standards within the financial industry.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project and program managers to foster a collaborative and accountable environment.
  • Oversee multiple complex programs, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop strategies to address challenges.
  • Drive the development of standardized project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure resource allocation.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, key milestones, and risks to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field or comparable work experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in project and/or program management, with significant leadership roles in the financial industry.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional projects in a regulated environment.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices and expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operationally with attention to detail.
