Job Description: This is a hands-on engineering role building the web experiences, systems, and infrastructure that help Buffer grow. The work spans implementing integrations with marketing tools, analytics and tracking systems, and SEO infrastructure, as well as developing backend logic that powers marketing features.

You thrive in remote, async environments—communicating clearly, supporting teammates, and not waiting for permission to make progress. You work effectively across marketing, design, and engineering, and can explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. You're fluent with AI tools and use them to work with more leverage.

Skills Required: Strong frontend foundations — solid experience with React, TypeScript, and modern web development. Their site runs on Next.js v15+ with React and TypeScript. Experience with SEO, analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization. Familiarity with Segment, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, and BigQuery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in growth/marketing engineering
• React, TypeScript, Next.js proficiency
• Marketing tech stack familiarity (Segment, GTM, Mixpanel)
• Async-first mindset
