Job Description: Not a typical sales role. You own the entire customer relationship end-to-end—commercial and technical. No sales engineer to hide behind, no CS team to hand things to. You manage an existing book of business with high-paying ($20K+/yr) customers with significant expansion potential, some of whom have never talked to PostHog before. Over 1,000 organizations sign up to use PostHog every week. Your job is to identify and focus on the ones worth your time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own an existing book of high-value customer relationships — retain, expand, and multi-product sell
  • Be hyper-responsive and treat customers like an extension of their internal team; use Slack for comms where possible
  • Become a genuine expert on all PostHog products and advise customers on configuration, SDK choices, and implementation
  • Identify inbound customers matching the ICP and focus on their biggest opportunities
  • Own customer feedback loops and feed insights directly to PostHog product teams — no bureaucracy
  • Drive multi-product adoption without forcing products customers don't need
  • Build long-term white-glove 1:1 relationships at multiple levels of the org (IC through VP and CTO)

Requirements:

  • Technical depth to demo every PostHog product and advise on implementation without needing to escalate
  • Commercial mindset and excitement about growing and retaining revenue
  • Ability to move fluidly between IC engineers and C-suite in the same day
  • Experience owning long-term customer relationships across $20K–$100K+ ARR
  • Background as an AE who owned full relationships, or as a solutions engineer who wants full credit for deals

Nice to have: Experience with developer tools, product analytics, session replay, feature flags, A/B testing, data warehouses, or data pipelines.

Benefits: Transparent compensation, 10-year equity exercise window, meeting-free days, async-first, private health/dental/vision.
