Job Description: You'll join the App Systems team as a high-ownership contributor to Fondue — Postscript's cashback, discounting, and incentives product — and to the broader billing, entitlements, onboarding, and core merchant infrastructure. The role sits at the center of high-margin revenue and a competitive product roadmap. You'll be evolving distributed systems, implementing AI-first development practices, decoupling monolithic dependencies, and driving the technical standards that let Fondue scale alongside the core platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full technical ownership of the Fondue product and its architecture
• Design and execute solutions across distributed systems with meaningful ambiguity
• Drive modularization and system decoupling from legacy monolithic structures
• Implement AI-first coding practices using tools like Claude Code or Cursor
• Architect, build, and maintain highly available, scalable REST APIs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and customer support teams

Requirements:

• 4+ years building large-scale backend systems and APIs
• TypeScript required; Go preferred; Python and Java also valued
• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration autoscaling
• Familiarity with AWS, Datadog, relational databases, and NoSQL databases
• Comfortable with agentic AI coding tools
• React experience is a strong bonus
